All water treatments tell us to add X ounces per X gallons of water for the water treatment to be effective.  

But, How do I know how much water is in my pond?  

​There is a quick calculation:
   POND (Avg. Length x Avg. Width x Avg. Depth x 7.5) = Total Gallons 

This calculation will give you a rough idea of the gallons that are in your pond.  This is not exact, but will certainly give you an idea and allow you to add the water treatments needed.
